Everything you need to know when you are installing components in your CMT340

Q1: Fan is running, light is on, but RGB effect of the fan cannot be switched? (when Motherboard is not synced)

STEP 1: Shut down the PC and turn off the power. 
STEP 2: Open  the side cover, verify if RGB SW (RESET AW)cable of I/O control panel inside the case is connected to the controller board as shown in Fig. a, and the power cable of the controller board is correctly connected as shown in  Fig. b.
STEP 3: Lock up the side cover and start the PC, now the fan works and the lighting effect can be switched over by pressing RGB SW.
STEP 4: Contact FSP customer service if the lighting effect still cannot be switched over normally.

Q2: How turn off Lighting Effect of CMT340?

STEP 1: Press and hold RGB Button on I/O Panel for 3 seconds to turn off lights.
STEP 2: Press and hold RGB Button for 3 seconds again to switch back to Controller Mode.

Q3: How to sync CMT340 Addressable RGB lighting effect with your Motherboard ?

STEP 1: Shut down the PC and turn off the power. 
STEP 2: Open the side cover, locate the 5V Addressable RGB (3PIN) connector on the motherboard (see Fig. c.Connect the RGB Cable of the controller board to the motherboard as shown in Fig. d. Make sure the 3 wires are correctly connected to +, signal and - respectively.
STEP 3: Lock up the side cover and start the PC.Download and install the sync software provided by the motherboard. Verify if installation of Addressable RGB Fan is detected by the software. Now you are able to control RGB fan lighting effect of the case via software.
STEP 4: Press RGB Button on I/O Panel to switch over to motherboard sync mode. Fan Lighting will flash 2 times in white and indicator on the controller board will light up in green Fig. e.
STEP 5: Contact FSP customer service if lighting effect still cannot be synchronized with the motherboard.

Q4: Individual fan does not run or light up?

STEP 1: Shut down the PC and turn off the power. 
STEP 2: Open the side cover and verify if  the fan connector is firmly connected to the controller board inside the case as shown in Fig. f also verify if the power of controller board is connected.
STEP 3: Lock up the side cover and start the PC.Contact FSP customer service for further assistance.
